Shilp Creations — sole proprietorship trading as shilp.

These terms govern your use of shilp.store and any purchase you make on it. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. About us

The site is owned and operated by Shilp Creations, a sole proprietorship registered in India and owned by Shilpa Arora (the “Proprietor”), with operational support from co-founder Sonal Mathur. Throughout these terms, “shilp.”, “we”, “us”, “our” refer to Shilp Creations. “You”, “your”, “customer” refer to the person visiting the site or placing an order.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a legally binding contract under Indian law to place an order. By placing an order you confirm you meet these requirements.

3. Products are made to order

Every product on shilp.store is hand-printed to order on our Bambu Lab multicolor 3D printer in our home studio in Delhi. As a result:

  • Minor variations in colour, layer texture, and finish are part of the handmade character of every piece — not defects
  • The product photos on the site show our best representation, but the item you receive may have small visual differences
  • Standard production time is 2–3 working days — see our Shipping Policy

4. Pricing & payment

  • All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of applicable GST where charged
  • We reserve the right to change prices at any time before an order is placed; the price at checkout is the final agreed price
  • Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card or UPI details.
  • If a payment fails, your order is not confirmed until full payment is received

5. Order acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it only when we send you an order confirmation email. We may refuse or cancel an order if:

  • The product is incorrectly priced or described on the site
  • We can’t verify your payment, address, or identity
  • You request something we’re unable to print (e.g. trademarked logos, copyrighted designs, prohibited content)
  • We suspect fraud or misuse

In such cases we refund any payment in full.

6. Customer-uploaded content

When you upload a photo, name, or message for a personalised product, you confirm that:

  • You own the content or have permission to use it
  • The content does not infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark, privacy, or personality rights
  • The content is not obscene, defamatory, hateful, or illegal under Indian law
  • You grant us a limited licence to use the content solely to print and deliver your order

We may refuse to print content we believe violates these terms, and we’ll refund you in full if we do.

7. Intellectual property

The shilp. brand, logo, designs, product photos, copy, and site code are owned by Shilp Creations. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them for commercial purposes without our written permission. Original 3D model files we design are our intellectual property; you receive only the printed product, not the underlying STL file.

8. Returns & refunds

Our return policy is governed by the Refund & Return Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: items are made to order and non-returnable; damaged items are replaced free of cost within 48 hours of reporting.

9. Shipping & delivery

Shipping terms are governed by the Shipping Policy. We ship pan-India via Shiprocket. We’re not liable for courier-side delays.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, our total liability for any order is limited to the value of that order. We’re not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses (e.g. missed gifting occasions, hurt feelings, lost time).

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Shilp Creations against any claim arising from your breach of these terms, including any IP infringement, illegal content uploaded, or misuse of our products.

12. Force majeure

We’re not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control — including power cuts, internet outages, courier strikes, natural disasters, pandemics, or government action.

13. Use of the site

You agree not to:

  • Use the site for any illegal or unauthorised purpose
  • Attempt to hack, scrape, or disrupt the site
  • Upload viruses, malware, or harmful code
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these rules.

14. Third-party links

The site may link to third-party sites (Instagram, Etsy, courier tracking). We’re not responsible for their content, terms, or privacy practices.

15. Governing law & jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Delhi, India. We encourage you to email us first — most issues can be resolved without a lawyer.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

17. Severability

If any part of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest remains in full effect.
